The Finance and Accounting subgroup enables women working as finance, banking or accounting professionals to meet and create networks, and to facilitate sharing of best practices as they relate to the finance function. Each meeting covers one topic that is of interest to the group as a whole, with members nominating topics and suggested subject matter experts to lead each meeting.
During the year, one or two meetings are designated purely as social and networking evenings. The Finance and Accounting subgroup is open to all PrimeTime members regardless of professional background, and guests are welcome to attend one meeting (subject to space availability) before joining PrimeTime.
Dorothea Guilland (finance@primetime.org.sg) has 12 years of
people and project management experience across consulting (ATKearney) and
corporate finance (HSBC Bank, Groupe Danone) in Asia and EMEA demonstrating
cultural awareness and entrepreneurial spirit. Dorothea is passionate about women leading fulfilling
lives, combining work and play, while having fun. She’s also interested in connecting
women across cultures and professions.
Sue Lightfoot (finance1@primetime.org.sg) relocated to Singapore in early
2010 to join Standard Chartered Bank as Senior Technical Accountant. Previously
Sue worked for PwC in the UK and Australia. As a technical accountant she
enjoys problem solving to find novel solutions to challenging accounting
issues, and also develops and delivers training. Sue is British by birth and Australian
by choice.
