The last Thursday of every month is your chance to sample the culinary kaleidoscope of Singapore with
the DineTime Co-Chairs. They want to get off the beaten track and away from the usual eateries that are well known to every visitor and business traveler, to find the real gems. These might be newly opened eateries, die-die-must-try classics, quirky cafes with an exotic menu or one of their favorites they would like to share. Depending on the cuisine, a sampling based on the restaurant’s specialties or an à la carte menu will be the format. 
 
Spouses and partners are welcome to all DineTime events.

DineTime Vegges Out:
Peranakan and Thai Vegetarian Dinner at Tanjong Pagar
 
Whole Earth planted its first seeds in 2003 to provide excellent, flavorful food for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians to enjoy. Rich Peranakan cuisine is creatively fused together with authentic Thai fare.
 
As Singapore’s first and only Thai-Peranakan Vegetarian restaurant, Whole Earth has built a healthier community that comprises of families, healthy food-seekers, executives, vegans, and foodies who have found a healthier alternative. Whole Earth still continues to inspire everyone with what it has been known for and stood for through the years: bringing people together with good food.

Vegetarians at steakhouses? Sure! For over 20 years, Gina has been a vegetarian. Moving  every two to three years since the age of 17, Gina became adept at creatively patching together vegetarian options from the menu whether at a traditional Bavarian restaurant in Germany, a beachside kiosk in Puerto Rico or at a steakhouse back home in the U.S. Gina places no limitations on where she dines and enjoys trying out new cuisines and restaurants with unique ambiances

 Magda Marshall (dinetime2@primetime.org.sg) 
Magda arrived in Singapore earlier this year for a two-year assignment as business operations manager for Hewlett-Packard. Her career began as an electrical engineer and she has worked for industry-leading firms Intel, Micron, and Cisco. Magda is looking forward to exploring Singapore’s food scene.
