Listening to our member feedback, PrimeTime is pleased to introduce online credit card payment for membership dues and selected PrimeTime events. This service will allow you to pay using MasterCard and Visa when you apply for membership or RSVP through the PrimeTime website.
This service will be launched with the 2nd Thursday PrimeTime meeting in October. We hope this will make it more convenient for you to pay for a PrimeTime event and especially to enjoy the early registration discount for our 2nd Thursday meetings, without the hassle of posting a cheque.
Pay Online By Credit Card
When you RSVP via the PrimeTime website you can now choose to pay by credit card. There is no need to register for this service, just have your credit card with you to type in your account number and security code. You will receive an onscreen payment confirmation message, as well as an email confirmation from our service
provider - eNETS.
Credit Card Payment For Selected Events
The 2nd Thursday meeting will provide for credit card payment via the website. Each PrimeTime group chair will determine if online credit card payment is appropriate for their event. The social groups such
as DineTime and Book Review will continue to collect payment at
the event.
Cash and Cheques Are Still Accepted For The Event Fee and Wine
If you elect not to pay by credit card, you can pay “at the door” with cash or a cheque. At all of the events, wine will be an add-on expense.
Problems Paying For a PrimeTime Event From Your Work PC?
Most companies today have high security computer networks. If you cannot pay online for a PrimeTime event from work, a security firewall is most likely blocking the payment. Try to make the payment from your home PC and you should have success with no frustration!
Small Price Increase For PrimeTime Events
PrimeTime has maintained a constant price for 2nd Thursday meetings and other events for the past few years. However, venue costs in Singapore have risen around 30%, GST has increased, and online payment adds additional expenses. Funds allocated from membership dues to subsidise PrimeTime events are no longer sufficient going forward. To maintain the same standard of venues, food and beverage, and overall meeting experience, you will see a small increase in PrimeTime event fees starting in October.
