If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions, then this group is for you!
Our goal is to create inclusive events that will interest and support professional women whether you are working, thinking of getting back in the game, or simply want to be prepared when the right opportunity comes along. 
With the Job Search & Career Change group, you will have the opportunity to:

Events will take place four to six times a year. Plus, if you would like a topic to be organized, feel free to contact one of the co-chairs to suggest!

Job Search & Career Change Co-Chairs

Berlinda Gooi

Berlinda Gooi is a Malaysian-born education professional. After moving to Singapore in 2003, she worked at INSEAD, managing alumni affairs and supporting institutional events. Subsequently she headed up alumni relations in Asia-Pacific for Chicago Booth, working closely with both alumni and students. In 2013, she joined SMU to oversee alumni engagement strategy and annual giving. She loves thinking about big ideas and working on outreach campaigns.

She has organized events, managed volunteers, raised funds for nonprofit organizations in healthcare and immigrant and refugee assistance. She has a BA from Mount Holyoke College and an MBA from Zicklin, Baruch College.
She is passionate about connecting people with each other and helping them to leverage their education and professional networks.  

Sonya Rosendorff

Sonya is a human resources and recruitment professional, with more than 12 years’ experience. She started her career as a fashion designer studying a Diploma in Art, majoring in Fashion & Textiles at the Central Institute of Technology. After following her dream to move to London from Perth, Australia she worked in a wide variety of different jobs from knitwear assistant, to wholesale sales to production designer and working in many of London’s major department stores such as Harrods’s, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols selling Dior to Gucci. Making the career transition from fashion to recruitment 12 years ago, she hasn’t looked back working for big US companies such as Apple, NBC and now Mastercard.
She moved back to Australia to work in Sydney and since 2013 moved to Singapore to gain more experience in the Asia Pacific region. To strength her knowledge in HR she has studied Human Resources at the Australia Human Resources Institute and is currently studying a MBA in Change Management at the Australian Graduate School of Management.

Sonya believes she will make a difference by supporting women in gaining that new career change or finding the right job for them. These areas are rewarding for Sonya to see other women progress and develop personally.
